If you had asked us to guess what the latest big EJ news is this would not
have been on my list. They did a great job of keeping it secret. The name is
way too long as far as I'm concerned and the Furnish-John looks weird. So
will this mean less touring for Elton? Also, it'll be interesting to see

I just checked out eltonjohn.com and of course there's no mention of this
news. But there are very recent stories about more concert dates being added
for next year which answers my thought about him possibly touring less. The
kid will probably seldom see Elton but I'm sure he'll be spoiled.

Is it right Elton John and his partner are allowed Children?
I read the story about him and his partner David Furnish "having a
child" on Xmas day. I find this appalling. God did not intend this to
be the way of parenting when he created the earth. He must be
sickened.

I feel extremely sorry for the Child. Elton is looking very tired, a
baby waking up for feeds will only add to this tiredness. Elton has an
extremely short temper and can be very vicious. As for Furnish, he
looks a tad weird to me, I hope he is not left alone.

I wouldn't have gone with 3 names, but at least they're all REAL
NAMES, and not fruit or birds or cartoon characters or made-up shit
that does NOT sound nearly as cute as the parents think it does,
especially when Junior hits puberty.

And the hyphenated surname thing is quite the growing trend, even
outside the Hispanic immigrant community.

For me, Zachary Jackson John would have been the best name. Using a song
title as a name is too gimmicky as far as I'm concerned and I'm not a fan of
hyphenated last names, especially in this case. Let's face it, the kid will
be known as Elton John's son and David will seldom be mentioned. I wonder if
the hyphenated name was his idea.

Please don't attempt to speak for God. If this child, who's name will
obviously be shortened when spoken to or about, is raised with love,
he will be fine. Do you find them hoping to adopt appalling also? They
were denied that option. And then "David looks a tad weird to me"?
